Cookie policy
Last updated: 25 April 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Wado Composite uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit https://wado-innovations.com (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage (e.g. browser localStorage) to remember choices you make on the Site.
2. Strictly necessary / essential
Some cookies or storage are strictly necessary for the Site to function or to remember essential preferences (for example security, load balancing, or your cookie-banner choice). Where applicable, these may be exempt from consent under the ePrivacy Directive and UK PECR guidance, depending on your regulator's interpretation.
- Cookie / storage notice preference: we store your response to the cookie banner in
localStorageunder the keywado_cookie_notice_v1(values such as accept or reject) so we do not repeatedly show the banner. - Hosting / delivery: our hosting provider (Vercel) and content delivery infrastructure may set technical cookies or process connection data as part of serving the Site. See Vercel's privacy policy.
3. Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic (e.g. pages viewed, approximate location at region level, device category). The GA4 measurement ID used on this Site is: G-MRL7K5E935.
Google may set cookies (such as _ga and related identifiers) on your device. How Google uses data is described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or adjust your browser to block third-party cookies.
Consent: where required by law, analytics cookies should only run after you have given consent. We display a cookie notice on the Site; if you intend to rely on strict opt-in for GA4, ensure your technical setup (e.g. Google Consent Mode) matches your policy — ask your DPO or counsel.
4. Media from Cloudflare R2
The Site loads large media (for example the hero background video and some 3D-related assets) from Cloudflare R2 public endpoints. Those requests may involve cookies or identifiers managed by Cloudflare in accordance with Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. First-party delivery from your own R2 bucket may not set analytics cookies by itself, but network-level data may still be processed.
5. How long are cookies kept?
Duration depends on the cookie: session cookies expire when you close your browser; persistent cookies (including some Google Analytics cookies) can last up to 24 months unless you delete them earlier. Your banner preference in localStorage persists until you clear site data or we change the storage key.
6. How to control cookies
- Use our cookie banner where available.
- Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies (see your browser's help section).
- Use industry opt-out tools where relevant (e.g. Google Analytics add-on above).
7. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change technologies or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change accordingly.
This document is for transparency and does not replace legal advice tailored to your use of cookies and trackers.
